We announce two new associate artists! Anil Gupta has become our Deaf associate for the project ‘Deaf not Dumb’ and will be joining us in the office soon, before attending jolly rehearsals for ‘Cinder – Ella’. And our second delight is announcing that our long term Design expert Chris de Wilde is now Kinnys full time associate Artist to Krazy Kat. Bravo for all of us!

DEAF NOT DUMB project begins

Our new Arts Council England funded project, entitled ‘Deaf not Dumb’, has just begun. The eleven month extravaganza will feature two brand new productions that will tour throughout the UK, plus we will be appointing a Deaf Associate Artist to join us for a while. Watch this space for further developments, and in the meantime have a look at The Shows page for information on our first creation ‘Cinder-Ella’ which will be up and about in November…

THE PERFECT SPOT : Kinny and Jim rehearsing in Inverness

It’s been a busy month so far, with Kinny and Jim working alongside Dave Smith to create a new version of CARTOON THEATRE’S hit show ‘The Perfect Spot’. And rehearsing in Evanton, just outside Inverness in Scotland. The show starts it’s tour in September, and will be heading south for a week of hi-jinx too. Come and share A DREAMY time in Guildford

The studio is empty, the van is packed, the show is ready to begin it’s tour at The Mill Studio, Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in Guildford. On Thursday afternoon the delights will be unveiled, as the painted caravan that is Krazy Kat Theatre Company embarks on a UK tour that will take us from Southampton to Deal, from Aberdeen to Lamberhurst. Deafest is calling in Wolverhampton…

Although we are still in rehearsals for ‘A {midsummer Night’s} DREAM’ (watch our Facebook page for some silly photos soon) we are starting to look to the practicalities of the UK tour. And on the horizon we see one of our favorite cities. Krazy Kat are so looking forward to being part of  the wonderful Deaffest this year and Wolverhampton is looking lovelier every day!
